LEIGH GRIFFITHS has this afternoon posted a message showing him lifting a trophy with Celtic and the player declaring it won’t be long before he’s back doing it again.

The striker has been given time off by the club to deal with his personal life in the hope he can sort things out and come back into the fold.

It looks like if it’s up to Leigh, he’ll be back sooner rather than later.

The club and Brendan Rodgers will be keen to stress the importance of not rushing his return.

The Celtic manager has made moves in the January window so there’s no pressure on Leigh to come back before he’s ready.

Timothy Weah and Issouf Bayo will be part of the squad in the second half of the season and are ready to chip in with some goals.

Personally, it will be great to see Leigh come back into the team when the time is right.
