Celtic made history in Rome on Thursday night as the bhoys battled from a goal down to beat Lazio 2-1 in a pulsating Europa League game.

The bhoys started off very poor, conceding an early goal and giving Lazio so much encouragement. As the first half progressed the bhoys were trying to find their feet and when Moi won the ball back and played an inch perfect pass to James Forrest the Celtic winger didn’t need a second invitation.

In the second half, Celtic put in a top performance – both in attack and defence. Unlucky not to take the lead and Fraser Forster coming up big again with a couple of top saves.

Jullien was in the thick of it as the match wore on and was heading a lot of balls back up the park as Lazio put us under pressure. It would be a shocking lapse by Lazio that let Celtic in on goal on the 94th minute. Giving an exhausted Edouard, Moi and fresh Ntcham an opportunity and with the clock running down the midfielder Cooley chipped the goalkeeper.

After the game the players rightfully celebrated and Jullien sent out this message.
