Ibrox player Ryan Jack has told The Athletic Celtic were ‘nothing special’ during their win at Ibrox and that Gers were the better side.

It appears their superiority complex is bulging more than ever after they took top spot in the SPFL at the weekend.

Celtic played at Ibrox in September and didn’t HAVE to get out of second gear to deal with the home side on the day who were reduced to kicking Celtic and at one point Scott Arfield hanging onto the coattails of Olivier Ntcham just trying desperately to stop him.

However, the human mind is resilient and Jack seems to have blocked out that entire episode to give us these fantastic quotes which if you pay attention – WILL come back to haunt the Gers midfielder before all is said and done.

“Even in the O** F*** we just weren’t great but they weren’t anything special.

“I don’t think any team in the last six, nine months has played us off the park or been a better football team than us.”

Celtic have faltered in their last two SPFL games opening the door for the Ibrox side to take the lead. Credit where it’s due, they haven’t lost a game outside the Celtic defeat since the start of the season.

However, there’s no doubt who was deserving of the win on that day and who was the better team – even if Celtic didn’t need to be at their best.

  1. Jack is a wee nonce. That Scotland injury showed he’s a lightweight. it was remarkable how his injury cleared as soon as he was back at the house of horrors. Talks bullsh1t and will always be a lightweight in any team. He was the same at Aberdeen.
Be interesting to know what he will say when the season is over. I canny wait!!!
