Canet Roussillon have piled on more misery to Marseille and Olivier Ntcham by knocking them out of the Coupe de France on Sunday evening as the Celtic loan players move appears to be going from bad to worse.

Subbed off at half time in his first start last week against Lille, the midfielder only got 45 minutes again as his loan side were sent crashing out of the competition 2-1 to the minnows.

Marseille fans must be wondering what’s going on.

Oli’s move to France so far has been an unmitigated disaster.

There’s not a lot of time to impress between now and the end of the season for the Celtic midfielder and he could blow his shot at a permanent move UNLESS Celtic have agreed an obligation to buy clause.

Ntcham wanted away from Glasgow for the past two seasons and he must be cursing his luck at the start he has had at the club. The manager resigning in protest due to his signing, not being played, then being subbed off early twice in a row.

Things can only get better, I suppose.
