Celtic midfielder Odin Thiago Holm is on the verge of completing a loan move to MLS side Los Angeles FC.

The Norway U21 international has been linked with the switch since December, and the latest developments suggest the deal is all but done with a visa the last thing to complete.[SkySports].
Holm will join LAFC on a straight loan deal until the end of the current MLS season, which is around October time.
Holm arrived at Celtic in the summer of 2023 amid high expectations but has struggled to make an impact at Parkhead. The Norwegian midfielder has managed only 16 appearances for the club, with just three outings this season amounting to a total of 24 minutes on the pitch.
The lack of game time has prompted the club to sanction the loan, giving Holm the opportunity to develop further while gaining crucial match experience in the competitive MLS environment.
Los Angeles FC, one of the MLS’s marquee clubs, presents Holm with a chance to revitalise his career.
With Holm heading Stateside, Celtic’s midfield depth remains strong, with established players like Callum McGregor, Reo Hatate, Arne Engels, Paulo Bernardo and Luke McCowan among Brendan Rodgers’ options.
Hopefully, the loan is fruitful and Holm can get his career back on track.
