ODSONNE EDOUARD missed his second game in a row through injury on Sunday at Dingwall with many Celtic supporters anxious to find out when the player will be back.

According to Neil Lennon, prior to kick-off against Ross County, the Celtic manager wasn’t getting anybody’s hopes up with regards to the striker’s immediate fitness.

Asked if Edouard would be back for the cup final, Lennon told the BBC:

“I can’t pinpoint when he’ll be back.

“We have to soldier on without him at the minute and we’ll see how he is as the week goes on.

“We’re taking it day by day.”

At points this season, Neil Lennon has kept his cards close to his chest when it comes to injured players. There’s a chance Neil does know one way or another if Edouard will be in for the cup final or not but wants to keep his opponents on their toes.

You want them to have to prepare for as many scenarios as possible, however, walking into a cup final with Lewis Morgan up front would be a massive risk. Let’s hope the frontman is back.
