ODSONNE EDOUARD has linked up with the France Under 21 side after missing Celtic’s last two games with an injury.

While the player has reported for duty, it’s being reported France are being very careful with Odsonne to make sure he doesn’t exacerbate his injury. There was a fear he would go out for international duty and put more strain on the injury which saw him miss out for Celtic both in the Champions League and SPFL, however, the French set up are well aware according to RecordSport.

All going well, Edouard could be back in the starting lineup for the game against Ross County a week on Saturday. Celtic will have options with Klimala and Ajeti both available but it will be great to see Eddy back in the team if his injury is managed well over the next seven days.

The striker is still under intense speculation surrounding his future but right now, he’s still a Celtic player and supporters want it to stay that way for as long as possible.
