ANGE POSTECOGLOU has delivered an update on Odsonne Edouard after the Frenchman limped off in a post-match warm-down among the subs and reserve players.
Eddy came on late in the game and scored a penalty in the six-nil rout of Dundee. The player was then seen limping off the Celtic Park pitch later on in the afternoon.
It was a concern for two reasons – he might not be available for Celtic in the coming days but a longer-term injury could have quashed any chance of Celtic getting a fee this window for the frontman.
Ange has confirmed Eddy’s knock wasn’t serious and he should be in the squad against Jablonec on Thursday.
Over and above that, there have been no new bids for the Celtic hero as we start to get to the business end of the transfer window.
Ange Postecoglou say there are no new injuries ahead of Celtic v Jablonec. Odsonne Edouard picked up a knock on Sunday, but is ok. No new bids for the striker.
AP still hopeful of “a couple” of new signings over the next week.
