Celtic Twitter has hit the nail on the head this evening after Celtic fans were somehow brought into the argument when marauding rival fans took to the streets over the weekend.

We’re currently in a lockdown during the pandemic but with the title won over the weekend, thousands disregarded the stay at home order and decided to do what they like.

It has sparked a ferocious response from the government, and rightly so, but somehow Celtic were brought into things and now the Glasgow Derby is at risk of not going ahead.

Nicola Sturgeon said she’d be seeking talks with clubs (plural) after the events of the weekend and we’ll Celtic have been fed up with the tag many in the media and government want to stick to us. This was also aimed at a letter sent to the government by our rivals, calling us one half of two.

We’re Celtic, we’re not half of anything. When we do wrong, that’s on us, when our rivals do wrong, that’s on them.

One club since 1888!
