Celtic have taken a very cheeky dig at the late night firework display outside the team hotel.

The bhoys were in soundproof hotel rooms when Gers fans decided to set of fireworks a good distance away from the stadium. The aim was obviously to disrupt the team’s sleep and give their team the edge for the game.

It didn’t work.

An early goal for the home side couldn’t even inspire the team to victory. Celtic weathered an early storm and then took charge of the game. Goals from Tom Rogic and Cameron Carter-Vickers grabbed the win for Celtic.

Posting the full time match report at the end of the game, Celtic posted there were ‘fireworks’ at Ibrox as Celtic took the win.

It was a superb performance from all the bhoys who all stuck to their task and showed their quality.

Joe Hart came up big with a save when he needed, our captain was inspired and Giakoumakis led the line well while Maeda charged down everyone.

Brilliant from Celtic.

  1. I wish they would issue them with a cease and desist notice to stop using the term ‘Old Firm’. This was repugnant enough when they were actually rangers not a post-liquidation tribute act. They are clinging to being half of the ‘Old Firm’ so desperately it is embarrassing. We give them credibility, they are absolutely nothing without Celtic. We define their very existence. Only one club defines itself as half of something dead and it ain’t Celtic. What a sad, pathetic small club they really are. Only a Newco would behave like this.
