REO HATATE’s pass against Real Madrid has made it onto the official Champions League Twitter page, which has nearly 47 million followers.
Josip Juranovic’s throw-in was met by Reo Hatate, who switched play with a volley, with the ball landing perfectly for Jota to pick up. It was a great pass from the Japanese midfielder, who could’ve easily lost control of the ball.

Moving the ball around seems so effortless for Reo, who is constantly spraying some exquisite balls throughout a match. He’s always spotting the runs of his teammates, always aware of the space they’re in, and always looking to play them through on goal. He’s got seven assists as the result of this, but has set up many more goals, commonly getting a ‘pre-assist’.
To have a footballer like Hatate at the club is great, and given he’s 25, he still has a lot more to offer Celtic, and he begins to peak as a footballer.
