The Official Watford Twitter account had a cheeky wee dig at Brendan Rodgers themselves after the club had an influx of Celtic fans congratulating them on their win against Leicester today.
Former Celtic boss who was only last week managing Celtic to a 4-1 win against Motherwell took charge of his new club for the first time on Sunday and it wasn’t one to remember after Watford scored a winner deep into stoppage time.
Celtic fans on social media reacted to Watford’s win with much hilarity after the Irishman was heavily criticised for his career choice.
Watford were quick to welcome the Celtic fans on social media.

Celtic have managed two wins out of two since Rodgers left on Tuesday and are coping well without the Irishman with Neil Lennon steadying the ship for the bhoys.
There will be much bigger challenges for Rodgers than Watford and maybe in time, Celtic fans may wish him well…maybe.
