Celtic will look to immediately bounce back from their dismal Glasgow derby defeat to Rangers yesterday with back-to-back home matches in the Scottish Premiership.

The Hoops host St. Mirren at Parkhead this Sunday before welcoming third-placed Dundee United to Glasgow’s east end the following Wednesday evening.

The games provide Brendan Rodgers and Co. with the perfect opportunity to put the disappointment of Ibrox behind them and rack up some vital league points.

The officials for both matches have now been confirmed by the SFA.

When the Buddies make the short trip to Glasgow this weekend, Grant Irvine will be in charge, with Jonathan Bell and Graham McNeillie running the lines. Andrew Dallas is due to be on VAR, supported by Gary Hilland.

Then, just three days later, Kevin Clancy will be the referee for the visit of Dundee United.

Graeme Stewart and Colin Drummond will run the lines, with Steven McLean and Alan Mulvanny on VAR and AVAR duties, respectively.
Nothing but six points from the upcoming duo of home games is acceptable for Celtic.
They know they weren’t anywhere near the required standard against Rangers, and a response is needed.
It is perhaps beneficial that Scottish football does not have a winter break this season, or the Bhoys would be left licking their wounds for at least a few weeks. Instead, they are straight back into action this Sunday, with the chance to bounce back.
