According to Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, Southampton will NOT be the destination for Olivier Ntcham this summer, despite interest in the midfielder from the Premier League outfit.
Links between Southampton and our players is a regular thing, the club have had a great deal of success taking Celtic players down south in the past so it’s an avenue they’re not afraid to go down.
However, cold water has been poured over any potential deal from Ntcham, but interestingly other clubs are still keeping their options open.
Southampton showed initial interest in Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham but that is no longer expected to lead to a deal.
It’s understood Lyon and Porto are also interested in the 24-year-old and are monitoring his situation.
Porto tried to sign him last summer.

The Porto speculation has never really gone away, the Lyon link seems tenuous but they might think they have another player on their hands after signing Moussa Dembele from Celtic two years ago.
Olivier Ntcham can be an incredibly frustrating player but he’s on his game, the midfielder is a class above. It’s just getting that out of him on a consistent basis.

Agreed. Never quite saw him as ‘outstanding’ in any aspect of his play.
Good player,no more no less,but if somebody else rates him highly,i’d cash him in in a heartbeat tbh.
Not sure how much we are talking about here,but if it’s 10-£15m then i’d have the hand off the buyer quicker than a crocodile.
Spot on there mate , he is decent but as is often the case some fans have a tendency to overrate certain players
