SKY Sports man, Anthony Joseph has tonight confirmed former Celtic target Omar Colley has signed a new deal with his club.

In the summer, Sampdoria were willing to part with the defender but only for a figure north of £10m, which Celtic were obviously not going to pay.

The centre back looked out in the cold at the start of the season with many suggesting any club who were looking at Colley could potentially grab him for a cut price fee. However, after being out of the team for so long, the defender has come back in and been a real rock for the Italian side.

He was part of the defence who managed to register a 2-1 over Inter Milan just last week. His run of performances has earned the player a new deal and with that, any prospect of a move elsewhere is gone.
