BT Sports pundit, Chris Sutton has branded the SFA ‘shambolic’ for their handling of Alfredo Morelos.
The Ibrox striker had three separate incidents where he lashed out at a Celtic player off the ball with not so much as a yellow card from the referee John Beaton.
Sutton and many others were clear Morelos was a very lucky boy to stay on the park full stop after the forward’s stupidity.
However, Sutton was sure the SFA would come down hard on the frontman after replays showed the extent of his actions towards Celtic players.
It turns out, there will be no ban or case for Morelos to answer as the SFA revealed today the referee seen all three incidents and deemed them unworthy of any action leaving their hands tied.
On hearing the news, Sutton could not believe the outcome and blasted the SFA for their part in this shambles.
