CHRIS SUTTON gave his Twitter verdict on the Celtic game this Saturday evening after the Scottish Champions managed to get the three points in the end.

The bhoys huffed and puffed all day and had over 20 shots at goal before they finally got the ball into the back of the net.

It was new bhoy Albian Ajeti who came on and got the all important goal. The striker heading back to Edouard before the ball dropped to him and he smashed it home past DundeeUtd players protecting the goal.

Sutton commended Utd for their work ethic and branded Celtic wasteful but acknowledged all three points was all that mattered.

The former Celtic striker did comment on Ajeti’s fitness, believing the player doesn’t look quite right yet in terms of fitness. To be fair, he’s hardly played any football in the past year so match fitness will come the more time he gets on the field and the more he trains with Celtic.

  1. It wasn’t so much wasteful. It was more a lack of urgency. In the first half we played the ball back the way too often. In the second half we managed to progress to playing sideways. By far the better team on the day but there was no cut or thrust or anything that actually looked like they could get past 4 snails in any defence. Keep playing like this and there will be no 10 in a row that is for sure.
