Celtic and Hearts will get an even split for the Scottish Cup Final at Hampden which means there are around 7000 supporters who attended the semi-final against Aberdeen who will be locked out of the tie.

Celtic fans did what they always do against Aberdeen and responded in numbers when the Dons failed to fill their full allocation. In the same way Hearts didn’t fill their allocation for the semi-final with the FULL Hampden attendance declared at 21,011.

This means there are a lot more Hearts fans heading to Glasgow that didn’t feel it necessary to make the trip to see their men come through against Inverness.

It all seems like a bit of a stitch up

Hearts have already told their supporters ticketing information for the game with Celtic still to declare how they go about distributing the hottest ticket in town.

As we’ve seen from the Ibrox decision on Wednesday, Celtic will never be able to please everyone. Fans who went to all previous rounds and home cup ticket scheme members are likely to be balloted as demand will outstrip supply.
