LIVERPOOL legend Steven Gerrard has come out in defence of Scott Brown after he came in for some criticism last week from Hearts Boss Craig Levein.
Steven went as far as to say Scott was one of his toughest opponents as a player and that he’s a proper type of midfield enforcer that is not prevalent in the game anymore.
“I think it’s out of order saying he’s not fair” Said the scouser.
“Especially the career he’s had. It all comes down to him going tough on a young kid who plays for Hearts.
“But I think that’s the game and too much of it is going out of the game.”

Levein needs to get his own house in order.. First Neil Lennon and Hibs. Now Scott Brown and Celtic. Methinks he has a problem with anything Green and White…
