NEIL LENNON has told supporters Celtic’s injury worries are easing as the bhoys continue their hectic schedule. One big bit of news is Elhamed is back in training this Monday morning after a long time on the sidelines. We’ve not seen Elhamed in action since Celtic’s away tie against Lazio back at the start of November.

There were hopes the defender would be back after the winter break but a set back in Dubai meant he’s had to wait until now to get back into training. Elhamed has looked good when he has played for Celtic it’s just a matter of getting him onto the pitch for many supporters.

In his absence, Jeremie Frimpong has risen to prominince in a Celtic jersey but the wee man is also currently sidelined with an injury. Neil Lennon earmarked Monday for his return to training also but speaking on Sunday after the 3-0 win against Clyde, the Celtic manager dropped that notion and is now unsure when Jeremie will be back.

“The likes of Elyounoussi and Christie, them getting 85 or 90 minutes under their belt will do them a lot of good.” Neil Lennon told RecordSport.

“You just have to take each game as it comes and win each game as it comes as best you can. We’ve got a midweek game then another one next weekend so they’re coming thick and fast, but we’re getting a few back now.

“We’ve got Bitton and Elhamed, they’ll start training tomorrow, and then we just wait and see how long (Jeremie) Frimpong’s going to be.”
