The transfer window isn’t officially opened but there is plenty of news and rumours to go around; some credible, and some not so.

The latest Odsonne Edouard rumours seem to be pie in the sky stuff when it comes to the Celtic striker’s next destination.

SunSport are reporting Leeds will try to sign the French striker if they are in the Premier League next season. While the TV money bounty will be available to Leeds and they finances could be there for a big money deal, it just seems so unlikely.

Odsonne is an outstanding talent and over the past few years, we’re seeing top clubs take the players at Celtic more seriously. The likes of Virgil van Dijk and Wanyama had to go through Southampton in the past – but in these times, Edouard going to a club like Leeds who will be trying to stave off relegation seems a non-starter.

Celtic fans want to see their talisman signed up for ten in a row. Celtic aren’t actively looking to sell but we know exactly what will happen if a club puts in a record bid.
