Ange Postecoglou was taken aback by the Hearts manager’s version of events this evening as he blamed Bobby Madden for losing at Celtic Park.

Imagine our surprise at this comment after leaving the game this evening in no doubt Madden had a hand in keeping Hearts ticking over at points during the game.

There were some incredible challenges and cynical fouls from the Jambos that only ever warranted a talking to by the whistler. Incredibly, it was a Celtic player who entered the book first in the end.

After the game, Neilson told the BBC the referee win the game for the hoops.

Postecoglou replied: “well that’ll be three points for the referee. At the bottom of the table with that”.

Reporter: (you can have sympathy with him..)“No I can’t. If anyone thinks the referee won that game then they are watching a different game to me”.

Clamped by big Ange. Amazing that was the reply from the journalist in the first place who clearly thought Robbie had a point.

Ange watched the same game we did and Bobby was erratic as he’s ever been at Celtic Park. The whole crowd couldn’t believe some of the decision being made by the official.

The standard of refereeing in this country is woeful and there’s no remedy. The SFA refuse to hold bad referees accountable and continue to put forward their favourite few for the most high profile roles.
