Some Celtic fans were outside the stadium today at McDermid Park supporting the team from the sidelines due to the new restrictions in place for Scottish football.

The Hoops fans had to be refunded for the game having already paid for their tickets to the game before decisions were made to lock fans out.

We’ve brought the winter break forward as a result of fans being locked out of the ground in the hope it will be a short and sweet lockout for supporters.

Celtic’s next game will be on January 17th against Hibernian at Celtic Park, we’re not sure yet whether that will be in front of 500 fans or 50,000. We live in unpredictable times but we must push for fans to get back into football grounds as quickly as possible.

Nobody wants to see lockdown football make a prolonged return to our game. Fingers crossed for the restart in January.
