Kyogo Furuhashi seems like a great signing for Celtic when you consider it looks like our top goalscorer from last season, Odsonne Edouard, isn’t interested in staying at the club, we’ve desperately needed someone to fill his position in the squad.
I believe the man from Japan will be a success in the green and white hoops over time. Kyogo is the top goalscorer in the J-League with 14 goals and 2 assists in 20 appearances this term.
The SPFL is known for being a bit rougher than other leagues and the striker will have to deal with less protection from referees than he might be used to in Japan. Hopefully, the attacker has done his research and knows what he’s going up against, and knows how to counter it.
It would appear Celtic have signed an exciting forward in Kyogu Furuhashi @Kyogo_Furuhashi
Can play any position across the front 3. Highly mobile & technical on first viewing
Ange will know him well, here he is scoring against Yokohama F Marinos?

Furuhashi has posted a picture on Instagram and the caption reads “tomorrow will be special” this is a very exciting message and he seems already ready to play at Celtic Park when the season starts back.
Japan is currently on the UK amber list for covid and he could touch down at Glasgow airport in the next few days and might not have to quarantine.
