CELTIC FANS have reacted to the news both Marvin Compper and Scott Allan have been left out of Celtic’s Europa League squad.
As always on social media, you get a mixture of opinions but there’s a lot of fans who believe Scott Allan could have been a decent squad player for Celtic, there are others who think both will be paid off before Christmas.
Scott Allan signed for Celtic when all signs pointed to him signing for a certain Ibrox side when Ronny Deila was in charge at Celtic Park.
The player was branded a ‘banter signing’ by many Celtic fans who seen who top heavy Celtic were in Allan’s position but still chose to sign the midfielder.
There is no such love for Marvin Compper who most fans are resigned to the fact he’ll probably never play for Celtic again.
Brendan Rodgers spoke just before the window closed about trying to move certain players on but understood they’re quite entitled to sit on their contract even if they’ve been told they’re surplus to requirements.
We believe Rodgers was speaking about both these players when he made that statement.
So could Allan do a job for us or will he and Marvin be punted before Christmas?
We play most games with the opposition sitting with 11 men behind the ball. Scott Allan sees passes others don’t. I think he should be given a chance.

Serious question: Is Marvin Compper the worst Celtic signing of all time? Or does Scheidt still have that honour due to the price tag?

Really think Scott Allan should have pushed for a move he really is wasting his career staying there https://t.co/IESEalHSSD
