Celtic have let another one of their young players go this week with the news Daniel Church is leaving the club after 13 years coming through the ranks.
Daniel never made a first team appearance and like many of the young players has been languishing in the reserves without proper games to play so they can develop.
Taking to social media, Daniel was upbeat about a new chapter in his career.
Thank you @CelticFC for the last 13 years. Have so many amazing memories and met a lot of great people along the way. Been a dream come true growing up playing for my boyhood club, looking forward to the next chapter now ⏳ pic.twitter.com/4uYX1to2k8

There has been a clear out of young players this season so far. Jack Aitchison looks like another one who will be moved on in this window with SunSport reporting the striker is wanted down south.
Liam Burt has also already left this term with the player on trial down south. Calvin Miller another to add to the list.
It’s becoming a big problem, Celtic can’t expect to bring on these youngsters through to the first team if they’re getting very few competitive games. Loaning then out to lower league Scottish teams has done little for them either.
