NEIL LENNON has said he doesn’t feel under pressure and the noises outside the club aren’t affecting his day to day thinking.

After the Green Brigade unveiled a banner outside Celtic Park asking the manager to leave, his future has been under even more scrutiny.

Asked if he’s ever thought about leaving the club this season, the Celtic manager replied to CelticTV:

“Absolutely not.

He then admitted should things deteriorate, that’s when he could potentially walk away:

“Look, if things deteriorated, you might have to hold your hands up. But, at the minute, I’ve got no intentions of quitting. I don’t think I need to. I don’t think I even need to think about it.

“It’s all the outside noise that’s affecting other people. It’s not affecting me. I don’t feel under any pressure at all. I don’t feel that I should be under any pressure, either. We have lost one game in the league this season. There’s no evidence to suggest that I can’t.”

I think that’s the biggest worry for Celtic fans, Neil Lennon continuing on this downward trajectory and will walk away when the league is out of sight.

Fans who want the manager to leave think someone new coming in could potentially save their season and galvanise a squad who look bereft of direction at the moment.

For better or worse, we’ve said it before but it appears Neil Lennon will either be the man who secures the ten or loses it. It’s an incredible burden to bear but the Celtic manager believes he can get this team going again. Let’s hope he can and the best is yet to come.
