The Glasgow Derby takes on a greater significance this weekend with Celtic being able to wrap up the SPFL title with a win against The Rangers.

The Celtic side who brutally knocked the Ibrox club out of the Scottish Cup have the opportunity not only to win another Derby but secure 7 in a row, which would be the icing on the cake for this Celtic side.

John Hartson has played in many a Glasgow Derby, and he knows exactly what’s at stake here.

Speaking to the Evening Times, the Welshman issued a rallying cry to the bhoys in green!

“If I was a Celtic player in that dressing room I’d be going all out to rub Rangers’ noses in it. It is professional football, winning is what it is all about. This is the chance for Celtic to go out and enjoy their coronation and why not? They’ve earned it.”

Depending on the Aberdeen result on Friday night, Celtic may only need a point on Sunday to secure the trophy, but no Celtic fan would settle for that.

The last two games at Celtic Park have been draws, so it’s up to Celtic to give the fans a great day to remember.
