FORMER CELTIC MAN Pat Bonnar was left unimpressed by Celtic’s Tom Rogic after his side was defeated at Hampden.

Starting the game, the Aussie midfielder failed to impact the game like he did at Ibrox. Pat Bonner said on BBC Sportsound that the game was ‘too quick’ for Rogic, who was unable to register a shot on target.

“The positional play of Rangers has been excellent. Ramsey is almost an inside-right, stopping Taylor getting on the ball. Aribo is high up on McGregor, stopping him influencing the game. The game has been too quick for Tom Rogic so far.”

The manager tried to change things, bringing Matt O’Riley onto the field of play in the hope he would be able to produce a similar performance to last weekend’s.

Postecoglou will be frustrated in the changing rooms. His team had an off day, something that would infuriate the manager.

The team must bounce back next Sunday with a win against Ross County. The league isn’t wrapped up yet. If the league returns to Paradise, which it likely will, this season will be a massive success for Postecoglou and his side.

There are five games left, with a derby to be played at Parkhead. The manager will be keen for his players to win all of these games, bouncing back in the derby.

  1. Poor result against a poor Sevco side. How they made it to the semi final of the Europa League without Brother Boaby is beyond my comprehension.
