PATRICE EVRA has admitted that the atmosphere at Celtic Park is level above the rest, even admitting it’s better than some top Turkish sides.

The former Manchester United player experienced Celtic Park from the bench. PLaying in Glasgow twice, he was brought on towards the end of both games.

Of course, Evra was part of the famous game when Nakamura’s free-kick gifted Celtic the three points in 2006. Then, two years later, he also experienced Parkhead’s atmosphere when the sides drew 1-1.

While in Paris for that Champions League final, the defender caught up with Vlogger Thogden.

The YouTuber, who’s been at Celtic Park a couple of times, asked Patrice what the best atmosphere he had experienced was. The French legend replied;

“I think in Turkey, Galatasaray and Besiktas, was amazing. But you know what the atmosphere also I enjoyed was Celtic. It was just amazing.

“We played Celtic at Manchester United in the Champions League. The atmosphere was electric. This is where you get the real ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’, the real one.”

On a European night, Celtic Park is one of the loudest on the continent, Evra isn’t the first person to talk up the atmosphere in Glasgow’s East End, and he won’t be the last.
