PATRICK ROBERTS is back in town during the international break after leaving Glasgow for good in the summer.

The Double treble winner was pictured outside Blythswood hotel in the city centre.

The Englishman is in town to see Celtic fan and casual acquaintance Kevin Bridges as the comedian takes up residence at the SSE Hyrldro for two weeks in his tour of the United Kingdom.

Roberts cut his ties with the club in May after the Scottish Cup Final – the midfielder spent two and a half years on-loan from Manchester City.

The plans in the summer was to find a Premier League club and prove himself in England.

However, the invincible star was sent out to Girona FC in Spain after the City owner and Pep Guardiola along with his brother bought a large stake in the La Liga club.

The player is yet to start a game for the Spanish club and has played just 67 minutes of first team football.

  1. Can only hope Paddy may be missing Glasgow. With our goal average, we could do with a player who just loves to score. Celtic Forever! HH!
