PAUL LAMBERT is a boss under fire at the moment at Ipswich with a large number of supporters looking for their board to sack the former Celt.

Things have degenerated that much, it has emerged today the players had to stop training after a group of protesting fans threw pyro into the training ground causing a fire.

Mail Sport say the Ipswich players and coaching staff were going through their usual training session when smoke started blowing onto the training field.

The Police have been involved since and the club are helping them with their enquiries on that matter.

Ipswich are 12th in League One and the fans are furious Paul Lamber remains in his post.

It was only last month the former Champions League winner was having a go at some of his former teammates for daring to suggest Neil Lennon should be sacked by the club.

Lambert has his own problems at the moment and he must be concerned how far some of the fans are trying to go to get the club’s attention

  1. I think Paul might have seen the writing on the wall, hence his backing for Lennon.
There’s always been a bit of the fly man about our Paul.
