Reports in Italy claim Celtic are set to try again to prize defender Paweł Dawidowicz away from Hellas Verona this summer as the bhoys look to rebuild for next season.
The 25-year-old has been playing in Serie A this season with Verona, making 17 appearances for his side.
The centre back is on Celtic’s hitlist according to Tutto Hellas Verona.
There’s absolutely no doubt Celtic are going to need at least two centre-backs in the summer as the rebuild gets underway.
Shane Duffy and Kristoffer Ajer are both looking at a Parkhead exit; Duffy when his loan spell ends and Ajer seeking a move when he enters the final year of his Hoops deal.
There has to be discussions going on behind the scenes but Celtic fans are none the wiser when it comes to who is making scouting decisions and if the manager in place now will be here next season.
While we hope there are plans in place, it would be good to know what exactly Celtic might look like come July/August time.
