CELTIC put in a hard shift on Friday morning and afternoon, honing their skills in anticipation of their upcoming match against Kilmarnock at Hampden Park on Saturday.

The bhoys looked in good spirits ahead of the League Cup semi-final.

One brilliant picture Celtic posted was the reunion of two Japanese bhoys.

Daizen Maeda and Tomoki Iwata were pictured embracing for the first time since Iwata’s move to Celtic. The pair know each other from their Yokohama Marinos days.

Iwata joined up with Celtic last week and has been training hard to get up to speed with the rest of the team.

The J-League finished in December where Iwata came away with player of the year and the league title. He’s had a short break but is looking to get back into things quickly.

The people we’ve spoken about Tomoki praise his fitness levels. Ange already told CeltsArehere earlier in January he expects Iwata to be up and running fairly quickly in a Celtic jersey,
