Celtic right-back Alistair Johnston was a standout at the Copa America for his country.
Johnston was key as Jesse Marsch’s Canada reached the semi-finals, continually putting in admirable performances.
A favourite in his homeland, the 25-year-old was recently pictured on an advertisement board in a city in Canada.
At a bus stop, an Adidas ad of Johnston in a Celtic shirt could be seen with the caption ‘C’EST TON MOMENT’, which translates to ‘It’s your time’:

Due to the Canadians’ longer-than-expected exploits at the Copa, Johnston won’t be due back at Celtic until the beginning of August.
The defender recently got engaged as he looks forward to his second full season with the Hoops.
He was criticised for his performances at points last term but when it mattered, Johnston stepped up and was counted for his side. He came into form at a crucial period as Brendan Rodgers’ men marched on to win a domestic double.
