CELTIC are on their way to Austria and they’ll be going without Filip Benkovic with the Croatian under 21 still recovering from an achilles problem.
However, it appears Jozo Simunovic has made a surprise return to the first team fold after previously being out due to injury.
The defender has not been in action for some time but has been deemed fit enough to head out with the squad to take on Salzburg.
With Jozo not having much game time behind him, it’s unlikely Brendan Rodgers will go with the big man from the start unless he feels the double treble winner is a better option on the night than Jack Hendry.
Celtic go to Austria hoping to spring a surprise but the form FC Salzburg are in at the moment, it’s going to be a very tough task.
