Burnley and Irish winger Robbie Brady has reportedly emerged as a target for Celtic in the summer.

According to the Mirror, the 29-year old hasn’t yet agreed a new deal to stay at Turf Moor past the summer, so the Hoops are supposedly planning to swoop in and try to make a deal happen to bring Brady to the club.

Brady is a player who has Premier League experience, starting his career at Manchester United whilst also featuring for teams such as Hull City in the top flight and has spent several years with Burnley.

At the age of 29, he seems to be coming close to passing if not hitting his peak ages and will likely be on a big Premier League wage. He certainly looks to have his qualities, especially with things like set pieces.

It should be interesting to see if Celtic do make a move for him in the next few months of in the summer. There is a huge rebuild to come and signing a cost-effective deal with a free agent would be useful that if we can bring down his wages a little. Overall there are most likely better options out there though.
