Celtic loan star Jota has picked up player of the month for October after a standout run of games for the Hoops.
The Portuguese winger has been a breath of fresh air in this Celtic side. Jota is making real contributions to the team as well as getting Celtic fans on their feet with his exciting attacking style.
His form since coming in has been so good, there been a clamour for the club to sign the player from Benfica on a permanent deal. There’s already been so much speculation surrounding his signing. The bhoys do have an option to buy after all.
In a press conference with the mainstream media – he was again asked about his future – however Jota wouldn’t be drawn on where he will be come the end of the season.
The club and the player will sit down nearer the end of the season and see where they’re at. We asked Ange Postecoglou the same question earlier this month and he was not worried about a permanent deal being done quickly.
For the manager, he is happy Jota is enjoying his football and Celtic and he’s optimistic a deal can be done.
