It’s the end of the road for one Celt this evening as Calvin Miller announces he will leave the club next month when his contract expired.
Starting in our youth system as a striker it was Brendan Rodgers who tried to turn the player into a left-back during the Irishman’s time in charge. Miller never looked comfortable in the position but he always gave 100%.
With so much talent in this winning Celtic side it’s going to be hard for anyone to make the breakthrough and Calvin has unfortunately not made the cut.
The player wrote a heartfelt message this evening as he announced he would be leaving.
10 years of unbelievable memories and friends for life and been lucky enough to live my dream so young playing such a short part in a incredible team. Unfortunately all good things come to an end at some point but it’s time to take the next step in my career, cheers to everyone? pic.twitter.com/kdgjmwCUd0

Miller will no doubt have options this summer and while it will be a scary time for the player it will also be exciting. It’s his chance to go on and prove what he can do now.
We wish him all the best wherever he ends up next.
