PATRYK KLIMALA is up and running for his new club, scoring his first goal for the New York Red Bulls against New England on Wednesday evening.

The Polish striker left Celtic at the back end of last season to pursue the American dream with the Red Bulls – becoming their highest paid player!

The striker was playing his fifth game for NYRB when he was put through on goal and slotted the ball away nicely.

Patryk struggled at Celtic but his commitment to being better was always there. The striker bulked up for the start of last season to help deal with the physical nature of the Scottish game. He didn’t get too many chances but when fans found out he was leaving for decent money, I think there was an acceptance it was a good deal for everyone.

It’s good to see Paddy getting among the goals to add to his two assists in his first five games. We wish him all the best for the rest of the MLS season.

  1. Why is this an article. The guy is not on loan, he is not a Celtic player. He was rubbish, a headless chicken. Celtic got their money back on a dumpling but yet we still get these articles. Why?
