Postecoglou Believes Rogic has a Great Move Ahead of Him

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has declared that he believes former Celtic star Tom Rogic will move to a top club this summer, as the player still has the quality.

Tom Rogic’s Celtic exit came as a surprise for most, but the midfielder felt it was the right time to leave the Scottish Champions.

In recent days, the Aussie midfielder removed himself from the Socceroos, citing personal reasons as his excuse.

There have been no reports suggesting that Rogic has entered discussions with other clubs after his Celtic exit.

Ange Postecoglou has revealed he was close with Tom Rogic and urged him to sort out his future. The Celtic boss told SportsDay;

“I’ve had a great relationship with Tom over the last few years, particularly these last 12 months.

“He felt it was time for him to move on, and I thought it was a great way for him to finish as a champion.

“I’m not sure what his next step is, I’ve sort of left him alone.

“He’s obviously pulled out of the Socceroos which is a blow to them.

“Hopefully, over the next period, he gets his immediate future sorted out because he’s still got a lot of good football in him.”

At 29, Rogic is in his peak playing years. Last season, he had some superb moments for Celtic and his quality was on display to all that were watching.

There’s no doubting there will be many clubs after Rogic’s signature this summer, it’ll be interesting to see where he plays his football next season, with many Celtic fans bound to keep a close eye on the player.
