CHRIS JULLIEN could make his return to football after over a year out. The horror injury he suffered against Dundee United has led to him spending thirteen months on the sidelines.

After hinting at a possible return on Saturday night, Jullien has a ‘good chance’ to participate in the evening kick-off. As quoted by Glasgow Times, Postecoglou commented;

“Chris has trained and is available for the match.

“I haven’t made a decision on the starting line-up yet but there is a good chance he will be involved.

“Of course the pitch is a factor that we have to think about. But in terms of Chris himself, he’s been training well since the restart and doing everything with the team.

“He is obviously not ready to play 90 minutes at the level he wants to, more than anything else, but he will get in over the next few weeks.

“There is a good chance he will be involved against Alloa.”

This is great news for fans who have been eager for the french defender to return. Having never played under Ange, 28-year-old will be like a new signing.

Playing him on a plastic pitch is a risk though. However, I’m sure the medical team has been extra vigilant and any decisions made will have the player’s best interests at the centre of it. He has not been rushed back, having been in full training for a number of weeks.
