ANGE POSTECOGLOU refused to entertain talk of a potential treble as he faced the media on Tuesday.

The Celtic manager is focussing on the task at hand as he attempts to win his first trophy of the season on Sunday before thinking about the other two.

Of course, Celtic are in a great position in the league, sitting nine points clear with a significant goal difference on their side.

The boss dished out the mate treatment, refusing to give any headlines to the press. He said: [Sky Sports]

“Mate, you’ve got to win one before you even think about winning two, or even think about winning three. To me, that’s to start talking about stuff that is totally out of our control right now.

“All we can do is prepare well and be ready for a big game on Sunday, to try and win a trophy. Beyond that, come Monday, whatever happens, we’ll have preparation for another game and that will be our focus.”

Yet again, Ange Postecoglou is bang on with what he said.

Fans are busy discussing a treble, with belief that the team can win all three trophies this year, with it very hard to stop Ange Postecoglou’s Celtic when they’re on their A-game.

It would be unprofessional of Ange to allow himself to think ahead when there is a match on Sunday with a trophy up for grabs. If Celtic doesn’t win this, all talk of a treble can be scrapped.

It’s an encounter that many fans are looking forward to.
