Greek Radio station 3XY is reporting Ange Postecoglou will finish up with Yokohama Marino’s on Wednesday before heading out to start his Celtic career.
They’re claiming AEK Athens made a play for the soon to be Celtic boss but we’re rebuffed by the former Australian boss.
Ange has been widely tipped to take over at Celtic. Within hours of Howe’s rejection being confirmed, his name shot to the top of everyone’s list and most fans were baffled.
Since then, supporters have been finding out more and more about the manager. Some are optimistic and others believe the board have pulled a fast one.
It’s hard to prejudge anyone. The manager should and will get everyone’s support when he comes in the door. But given the nature of the board’s search for a beer boss and the magnitude of the rebuild, some fans could turn fast if results don’t instantly happen.
Greek Radio 3XY sports show said that Wednesday is Postecoglou’s last day at Yokohama.

Fly’s out Thursday for Glasgow.
Also before Celtic deal, Ange was courted by AEK Athens that fell through over assistant coaches.
The red tape surrounding Ange’s pro-licence still has to be squared but his compensation package as well as contract has been ironed out.
Welcome 2 celtic Postecoglou
“Also before Celtic deal, Ange was courted by AEK Athens that fell through over assistant coaches.”
Does that mean he’s not for having Kennedy and Strachan foisted upon him? I think I like him already…
