ANGE POSTECOGLOU is hoping to leave Ibrox after extending his team’s advantage at the tip of the table.

The last trip to Govan resulted in a loss. However, the team played well and was unlucky not to leave with all three points.

Since then, Celtic have improved a lot; the evidence is there for all to see. Celtic played their rivals off the park in the last meeting, embarrassing Van Brunkhort’s side.

Postecoglou has admitted that the match on the 3rd will be a ‘challenge’ but has admitted he is looking forward to the occasion, speaking to Celtic TV the boss said;

“It’s a great challenge for us,” Postecoglou told Celtic TV.

“I think in the first game there, we didn’t get the result we wanted, but I thought our performance wasn’t too bad.

“It was a pretty tight game, there wasn’t a lot of chances for either side. They took theirs, we had a couple that we didn’t take.

“There’s no doubt it’s going to be a great occasion. You want to go into these games firstly on good form, which we are, and knowing that there’s big consequences to the outcome.

“It’s a great position for us to be in and I know the players will be looking forward to it.”

Celtic are going into the game with a three-point advantage. If the worst-case scenario happens, and Celtic is beaten, they will still hold the top spot, with a superior goal difference.

However, Ange will be expecting nothing but a win from his players, knowing that a win here more or less wraps up the league.

  1. A win at Ibrox will not all but wrap up the league, there will still be another 6 games to play after this one, do not become complacent. Still a lot to do yet .
