ANGE POSTECOGLOU still has complete faith in Joe Hart as number one. The Englishman has had a few high profile errors but Ange knows Joe is the best goalkeeper at the club.

The Aussie manager also praised Ben Seigrist, who started Celtic’s last cup game when the side beat Ross County. Scott Bain and B team keeper Tobi Oluwayemi weren’t left out of Postecoglou’s praises.

It will be interesting to see who Postecoglou hands a start to. With two top-quality keepers and only one spot available, it can be hard to manage them. Speaking about the goalkeeper situation, the Aussie said; [Daily Record]

“Benji has been training well, but Joe has been playing well and Scott Bain and young Tobi Oluwayemi are also doing well and working hard.”

The Celtic manager didn’t give too much away in regard to his plans, but he made it clear he is pleased with Joe Hart’s performances.

It would be good to see Siegrist in action against Motherwell. He’s a top-quality player who could potentially displace Joe Hart. He’s sticking in at training; it’s what he needs to do if he’s wanting to get the chance to impress.

Tobi Oluwayemi was looking to be one of the backups last season, but Ben’s arrival has pushed him down the pecking order. He’s been impressive with the B side and has gained some top experiences in the UEFA Youth League. Training alongside the first team, he’ll be keen to show the manager that he deserves his Celtic debut.
