Ange Postecoglou was left frustrated with the injury to Kyogo Furuhashi after introducing him to the game in the first half of the Hoops’ dead-rubber’ European tie against Real Betis.

However, the Celtic boss was as adamant as ever that he won’t change his ways, as he opened up on ‘sleepless nights over potential selection calls that he has to make in an extremely busy period for his side.

“Yeah, it’s frustrating. Those are the decisions you make as a manager. You probably have a sleepless night thinking about the different scenarios,” he said, as quoted by the Daily Record.

“But my whole ethos has always been that you go out there, and you go for things. You never hold back.

“It has served me well up until now, and I’ll continue to do that with the way I want my team to play and the decisions I make.

“It’s just my nature to be more aggressive than sometimes people think I need to be. But we will get our rewards because of that.”

Of course, Ange will be disappointed with the injury which Kyogo picked up. However, that is said with the benefit of hindsight in the aftermath of Thursday night’s fixture.

The 56-year old has been afraid to show he will not budge from his philosophies, which has brought us into this brilliant run of form and performances.

Now, it is time for the other players in the squad to step up once again and show their worth as they prepare to face a run of seven games from now until January the 2nd.
