Cameron Carter-Vickers will miss the match against Morton on Saturday, despite Ange Postecoglou admitting progress had been made on the knock.

Giorgos Giakoumakis returned to training on Friday amidst rumours of a potential Celtic exit. The manager is waiting to see how the striker feels after the session before he decides if he’ll make the squad for the lunchtime kick-off.

Anthony Ralston had been back in training but suffered a setback, so he will miss the match.

Ben Siegrist has been missing from the squad since the turn of the year, with Ange Postecoglou confirming he had picked up a calf injury. He returned to training on Friday, but like the rest, tomorrow comes too soon for him.

The good news is that the rest of the squad made it through the midweek match fine, and will be available for the Scottish Cup tie on Saturday.
