ANGE POSTECOGLOU has revealed that he’ll look to strengthen the squad even further in the summer transfer window.

Last summer, the manager had to oversee a colossal rebuild, almost bringing in a new starting eleven. The manager has warned fans that the club is still witnessing a rebuild, despite the signings this season.

As quoted by the Sun, Postecoglou set out his plan for the summer, saying;

“There are still a few areas we need to look at. We’re still rebuilding the squad and I want us to be stronger next year in terms of quality in the squad.”

Postecoglou has also confirmed that he’ll look to shake up the backroom staff this summer in time for the players returning in pre-season.

Celtic will also try to move players on. Many players on the books currently earn a wage and don’t contribute anything to the squad.

Ange may look to use the loan market, giving some of his younger squad players some minutes at the top level in Scotland, like what is currently happening to Adam Montgomery.

It will be an exciting few months as Ange strengthens his squad to compete in the Champions League and, hopefully, defend their champions status.
