ANGE POSTECOGLOU is left with just one available striker with his others out injured or away with their national team.
In his last two starts, Giakoumakis has scored in each of them. In a weird question posed to Ange, about a ‘burdon’ that the greek striker will have to carry, Ange replied;
“There ain’t no burden when you’re scoring goals, mate.”
🗣️"O'Riley came in a few days ago, I thought he was outstanding. Reo has had 70 minutes of football in the last month. It is brilliant."

Giakoumakis hasn’t had a fair opportunity to play for Celtic.
The striker spent much of his first months at the club with the physios, but he is looking to leave that in the past. When he has played, he has impressed showing many sides to his game.
He can hold up play really well and play the poacher’s role ably.
Giakoumakis is tasked with an incredibly hard challenge.
He will lead the line on Saturday when Celtic receives a visit from Dundee United and most likely do the same on wednesday. Postecoglou, and the fans, will be hoping he can stay fit and available for the upcoming matches.
